This policy describes what CenterAide (formerly Class-Navi+) collects, why, where it is kept and who can see it. It covers the CenterAide Chrome extension and the website at centeraide.com. CenterAide is an independent product and is not affiliated with Kumon.

The short version

• CenterAide works on Class-Navi and K-SIS pages you are already signed in to. Most of what it does happens in your browser.
• It keeps a small amount of your center's information on our servers so every laptop at the center shares the same settings, grading log and follow-up notes.
• On our servers, students appear by their Kumon student ID or login ID, not by name.
• We never see or store your Kumon password. We do not sell data, show ads or use tracking cookies.

Information we collect

Your account

• Sign-in details: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the name Google shares with us. Passwords for CenterAide accounts are handled by our authentication provider and are never readable by us.
• Center and role: which Kumon center (by its center number and name) your account belongs to, and whether you own the account or were added to it.
• Linked laptops: the name you give each laptop, when it was linked and last used, and the extension version it runs.

Billing

• Your subscription status, plan, how many student subjects it covers, and your Stripe customer and subscription IDs.
• Card numbers and payment details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers.

What CenterAide keeps for your center

These records are shared by everyone at the same center, so that every laptop sees the same thing:

• Grading log: which worksheets and tests were graded, when, the score, how long grading took, whether the Auto Grader was used, and which instructor graded them (by their Class-Navi grader name). Students are identified by their Kumon student ID.
• Student engagement notes: when a student is marked Contacted or Snoozed, the note you write, who marked it and until when. Students are identified by their Kumon login ID.
• Change log: a record of each change CenterAide made in Class-Navi for your center (for example, a test it set), with the student's login ID, the subject and worksheet, the laptop and the time.
• Study plans: the worksheet pattern last used for each student and subject.
• Center settings: which patterns and filters appear, how many quiet days count, and your test entry rules.

What stays in your browser

• CenterAide reads the Class-Navi and K-SIS pages you open, including student names, worksheets and scores, so its tools can work on them. That page content is used in your browser and is not sent to us, except the records listed above.
• To act on your behalf (for example, to apply a study plan or set a test), CenterAide reuses your signed-in Class-Navi session inside your browser. That session never leaves your browser for our servers.
• Your CenterAide sign-in, preferences, remembered choices and walkthrough progress are saved in Chrome's extension storage on that computer.
• CSV files you upload for Report B or Auto Test Entry are read in your browser and are not uploaded to us.

Support and error reports

• When you send a bug report, we receive your message, the contact email you give, the page address, the extension version and basic browser details.
• When a tool meets a page it does not recognize, it stops and may send us an automatic report so we can fix it. These reports describe what the tool saw (for example, class names, codes and counts), the extension version and the browser. They never include a student's name, nickname or login ID, anything a student wrote, or a score.

Website

centeraide.com does not use analytics or advertising cookies. It remembers your light or dark theme choice in your browser.

How we use information

• To sign you in, link your laptops and keep each center's data separate.
• To provide the tools: sharing settings, patterns, the grading log, follow-up notes and the change log across your center's laptops.
• To bill your subscription and answer billing questions.
• To answer support requests and fix problems.
• To keep the service secure and reliable.

We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or use it to decide anyone's creditworthiness.

Who can see it

• People at your center: center records are visible to accounts and linked laptops at that same center. The change log and billing details are visible only to the center's owner.
• Our service providers: Supabase (sign-in and database), Cloudflare (hosting and email forwarding), Stripe (payments), Resend (sending account and support email) and Google (only if you choose Google sign-in). They handle data only to provide their service to us.
• When the law requires it: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the service and its users.

Student information

CenterAide is used by instructors and center staff, not by students, and is not directed to children. It handles student records only on behalf of the center using it, and only to provide the tools the center turned on. The center remains responsible for its students' records under its own agreements and policies. We do not contact students or families and do not use student information for any other purpose.

How long we keep it

• Account and center records are kept while the account is active.
• Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
• Support and error reports are kept while they are useful for fixing problems.
• Email us to delete your account or your center's stored records, and we will confirm when it is done.

Your choices

• Turn CenterAide off on any page or laptop from its menu, or remove the extension at any time.
• Ask us for a copy of your center's records, to correct them, or to delete them, at support@centeraide.com.

Security

All traffic uses HTTPS. Each center's records are separated on the server, linked laptops use their own revocable keys, and server keys are never shipped in the extension. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell affected centers promptly if their data is involved in a breach.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.

International users

Data may be processed in the United States where our providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to this processing where permitted by law.
